Dylan Thomas Mulkey

So, life has been a little crazy so I apologize for not posting on here very often.

Our newest little boy Dylan Thomas Mulkey entered the world on Feb 3, 2010 at 2:56 am. He was 6 lbs 1 oz and 18.5 inches long.

His big brother Riley loves his so much. He gives him kisses and hugs and says DYLA!

We are loving having our two boys!

wordless Wednesday

Prego update.

Well, I am 28 weeks and I am feeling pretty good. Just tired....a lot. But that's gonna happen regardless when you're pregnant let alone me working, chasing around our busy boy, housework, ect. But I am doing good. Excited to have a week off next week. So excited for the holidays. Wish Dylan was here already. I can't wait to meet him and have our family complete.

I realized I haven't really shown very many belly pictures with Dylan. Everyone is trying to remember how I looked with Riley and how I compare with Dylan. Well, I found a picture of when I was 26 weeks, and I am 28 weeks now, but it's close enough.

This is me at 26 weeks with Riley.

And here I am with Dylan at 28 weeks.

Hard to tell but I think I was actually bigger with Riley and that is two weeks different.

But then again I was 10 lbs heavier with Riley... Not sure if that makes any difference, but I dunno.

What do you all think?

Disney's Halloween Trick or Treat party!

So, on Wednesday we went to Disneyland to go to Mickey's Trick or Treat party. I dressed up as Tinkerbell...yes prego, Tink. (And some lady took my picture because her daughter is pregnant and loves Tink so she apparently needed a pic of me...haha, random) Tommy was Smee. (Apparently Smee is not as well known as I thought...even with the Disney workers. I mean come on, catch up with your Disney movies, man! Everyone thought he was a dwarf. Whatever!) And Riley was just the cutest Peter Pan in the world. (Thanks to my dear friend Leigh for his costume!)

Well, we went with our wonderful friends, the Brewers...LOVE THEM!

We almost had a problem, but Leigh is awesome and fixed it all for us. So we headed down into the fun/madness.

When you go in they give everyone bags to fill with yummy treats, candy, apples, carrots, cheese its, all kinds of good stuff! They have booths all over CA Adventure and you just stop by and pick up the goods. They also had the rides open, so you can go on the rides...we went on Monsters, Inc. They also had "party stations" where there was music and dancing and you could dance with the Disney characters. You could also take pictures with characters but those lines were always too long and my amazing husband always wanted to go for the candy lines instead. lol.

Life as we know it

Well, we've known for a while but I've been slacking on my blog.

So we're having another boy and we are naming him Dylan Thomas.

We are super excited to be having another boy. We love our little man Riley so much it's gonna be just so much fun with two boys. They are gonna be best buddies.

I had a dream the other night and I saw Dylan in the dream and I just can't wait for him to be born. 4 months till Feb! So excited!

Life besides that is good, just working part time, hanging out with my boy, spending time with the hubby, going to church, just enjoying life.

Riley loves being outside. Either in our backyard or at the park, he is just so happy being out in nature.

I love discovering the world with him.

So excited for the holidays! Love the weather, it's awesome! And once the holidays are over our new little man will be here before we know it.

pregnancy

Does anyone else that has had more than one kid feel like the second pregnancy goes by super fast, you don't remember how far along you are, and it's just very different?

I mean obviously it's gonna be different since I am busy with Riley and everything but with him I guess I just had more time to think about it all the time, I knew exactly how far along I was with him...ect. It's funny cause everyone always forgets I'm pregnant cause we're so busy with Riley. I'm so excited for this baby though. I want to give enough attention to this pregnancy as I did with Riley...it's just different though.

Just a few thoughts about my pregnancy...it's totally more tiring cause of being so busy with work, the house, Riley, ect...but it's good.

Can't wait to find out what we're having. One week from Thursday we find out!
