Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. Not just because of the great food like turkey and mashed potatoes, and pie, but because of the family time. I love it because of the weather. I love it because of the cozy feeling going to someones house, using blankets, watching a movie, just being around family. I love the meaning of it, giving thanks. Every year my family and I all stand around before we eat and we say what we are thankful for. It's one of our traditions and I love it.
So a few things I am thankful for this year are:
-That I had a great pregnancy and easy delivery.
-That Riley is a healthy boy.
-That my friends and family supported me with his colic and me stressing out.
-That my husband is willing to listen, help with Riley, do dishes, make dinner, just do what he can to help me.
-For having friends that care.
-For my family.
-For my mom getting out of the hospital and doing such a great recovery.
-For all the support we've gotten from Sanctuary and Rod and everyone there.
-For having such an amazing church and the opportunity that we have to love, serve, and learn about God.
-For the opportunity to worship God with the gifts He has given me.
-For my husband having a good job that provides for our family.
-For my mother in law who has offered to watch our son while I work.
-For my life.
I love thanksgiving. Lets count our blessings today.
