wordless Wednesday

Prego update.

Well, I am 28 weeks and I am feeling pretty good. Just tired....a lot. But that's gonna happen regardless when you're pregnant let alone me working, chasing around our busy boy, housework, ect. But I am doing good. Excited to have a week off next week. So excited for the holidays. Wish Dylan was here already. I can't wait to meet him and have our family complete.

I realized I haven't really shown very many belly pictures with Dylan. Everyone is trying to remember how I looked with Riley and how I compare with Dylan. Well, I found a picture of when I was 26 weeks, and I am 28 weeks now, but it's close enough.

This is me at 26 weeks with Riley.

And here I am with Dylan at 28 weeks.

Hard to tell but I think I was actually bigger with Riley and that is two weeks different.

But then again I was 10 lbs heavier with Riley... Not sure if that makes any difference, but I dunno.

What do you all think?

Disney's Halloween Trick or Treat party!

So, on Wednesday we went to Disneyland to go to Mickey's Trick or Treat party. I dressed up as Tinkerbell...yes prego, Tink. (And some lady took my picture because her daughter is pregnant and loves Tink so she apparently needed a pic of me...haha, random) Tommy was Smee. (Apparently Smee is not as well known as I thought...even with the Disney workers. I mean come on, catch up with your Disney movies, man! Everyone thought he was a dwarf. Whatever!) And Riley was just the cutest Peter Pan in the world. (Thanks to my dear friend Leigh for his costume!)

Well, we went with our wonderful friends, the Brewers...LOVE THEM!

We almost had a problem, but Leigh is awesome and fixed it all for us. So we headed down into the fun/madness.

When you go in they give everyone bags to fill with yummy treats, candy, apples, carrots, cheese its, all kinds of good stuff! They have booths all over CA Adventure and you just stop by and pick up the goods. They also had the rides open, so you can go on the rides...we went on Monsters, Inc. They also had "party stations" where there was music and dancing and you could dance with the Disney characters. You could also take pictures with characters but those lines were always too long and my amazing husband always wanted to go for the candy lines instead. lol.

Life as we know it

Well, we've known for a while but I've been slacking on my blog.

So we're having another boy and we are naming him Dylan Thomas.

We are super excited to be having another boy. We love our little man Riley so much it's gonna be just so much fun with two boys. They are gonna be best buddies.

I had a dream the other night and I saw Dylan in the dream and I just can't wait for him to be born. 4 months till Feb! So excited!

Life besides that is good, just working part time, hanging out with my boy, spending time with the hubby, going to church, just enjoying life.

Riley loves being outside. Either in our backyard or at the park, he is just so happy being out in nature.

I love discovering the world with him.

So excited for the holidays! Love the weather, it's awesome! And once the holidays are over our new little man will be here before we know it.

pregnancy

Does anyone else that has had more than one kid feel like the second pregnancy goes by super fast, you don't remember how far along you are, and it's just very different?

I mean obviously it's gonna be different since I am busy with Riley and everything but with him I guess I just had more time to think about it all the time, I knew exactly how far along I was with him...ect. It's funny cause everyone always forgets I'm pregnant cause we're so busy with Riley. I'm so excited for this baby though. I want to give enough attention to this pregnancy as I did with Riley...it's just different though.

Just a few thoughts about my pregnancy...it's totally more tiring cause of being so busy with work, the house, Riley, ect...but it's good.

Can't wait to find out what we're having. One week from Thursday we find out!

super small update.

Man I am terrible at this whole blogging thing. But life moves so fast and we are so busy that things just seem to fly by and I wish I could just sit here and do this longer and more often but I just don't seem to have the time or patience. Plus Riley isn't a fan of me being on the computer.

Work has been fine. I just hate leaving my little man. One day this won't have to happen and we'll enjoy every second of it.

Tommy's work is still doing good. He's still working in hot Palm Springs although that job is almost done and he'll be probably be heading to Murrietta after that.

Tommy got a tattoo. The start of his sleeve.

It's pretty exciting.

I had a lot more to talk about but Riley is whining at me and pulling on my clothes for me to get off.

More of an update soon.

1 year brings so many changes

I cannot believe that this time last year I was like this...

Super pregnant and ready to have my little man Riley.

This last year has been amazing. We have learned so much gone through a lot, and loved our little man so incredibly much. We have grown closer as a family and had a fantastic time. The Lord has really blessed us with our little family this past year. We cannot wait for the next years of our family continuing to grow and our kids growing and learning and loving. We are so blessed with an amazing family and I just look at Riley every day and can't believe that we have such an amazing son and that he came and brought us so much joy!

I know I am a slacker...May update

I'm sorry I am such a slacker...but it is hard to keep updated on this thing with working, Riley and his abundance of energy, spending time with Tommy, church, ect.

A lot has happened in the last month. Riley is eating tons of foods. He is eating table food and he loves it. He has enjoyed some new foods and some we need to work on him liking...it's really fun and interesting seeing what he doesn't like or does like...this kid surprises me every day. 

May was also Riley's first trip to Disneyland. He really liked it. There was just so much for him to see and explore. I think it was kind  of a brain overload! :-) Here are a few pics from that...

We also unfortunately lost our camera...we have no idea where we lost it but I am totally bummed cause we missed documenting Riley's first steps...

THAT'S RIGHT! RILEY IS WALKING!!!

I mean he will take at the most like 7 steps but he is totally doing it on his own. He's such a big boy! He's growing up way too fast! He's 10 months! His birthday is coming up so soon...it's crazy.

Speaking of birthdays...Tommy had his 27th birthday in the month of May. We went down to Anaheim, stayed at the Ramada for 2 nights and went over to Disneyland, had dinner with some of our close friends, and just spent some nice quality family time away from the stresses of anything. It was so nice.

Tommy's family came. They had not been to Disneyland in FOREVER! And my mom came. It was fun. Although it was Tommy's birthday it was once again always about Riley. Bobby got a couple of great videos of Riley on "It's a Small World." He really liked that ride. Once Bobby gives us the pictures and video I'll put them up. The downsides of not having a camera...

June 9th was our anniversary. Tommy got off early and surprised me. He brought home beautiful red roses and we spent time with Riley for a bit...and then we dropped him off at Grandma and Grandpa's and went to dinner and a movie. It was really nice to spend time together, just us...we held hands and we were like..."wow...this never happens. :-)" 

Last night we did a photoshoot with my friend Jason...and there are some awesome pictures. I put some of them on my facebook...and I'll put up more, but I gotta get ready for work while Riley naps.

Not Me Monday

No Matter What else anybody says NONE of this stuff happened at the MULKEY house.

1. No it has not been 4 weeks since I've written a post.

2. No it was not because the stinkin Verizon people took WEEKS to get our internet up. 

3. No, Riley did not get dedicated at church with his cousin Ryan

And NO he did not pray when Pastor Rod prayed for him.

4. No we did not take Riley to the park to look at the ducks, and no he did not just thinks the ducks were whatever. No he was not caring about the camera more than the ducks. Not our Riley.

No he did not love the swings, but no he didn't just sit there and not smile...no never.

No he did not have fun with Mommy and Daddy at the park.

5. No we did not have a great time on Easter at church and with both sides of the family at my Grandmas. No our church is not slow on putting the Easter pictures up and no there are not tons of cute ones with Riley. No I will not post them as soon as I see them!

6. No Riley is not crawling everywhere and getting to all the toys he wants and everything else. No he is not getting into everything when I turn my back for one second! 

No he is not pulling himself up on everything and walking while holding onto things. 

No I do not think he's gonna be walking at like 9 or 10 months.

7. No Riley does not have 5 teeth! No it does not hurt when he chomps down on your finger.

8. No my son is not a ham at church with the camera.

9. No this is not my father in law. All of my family is totally normal and would never do anything out of the ordinary.

10. No my son is not hiding his little thing with a duck. And no I am not one of those parents that put naked pictures of her children on her blog. Not me!

11.  No the boys did not go offroading yesterday while the girls went shopping at Cabazon. 

NO connor did NOT get his truck stuck in a hole and we had to pull him out!

No Michael did not run over a snake 4 times to kill it so he could bring it home and scare his wife and her friends (christian did most of the scaring not at all)

No it was not hot and no our kids did not try to get out of our strollers.

No we did not go back and have pizza and just hang out with friends.

No Riley was not playing with Baylee's doll.

No Tommy did not get mad that Riley was playing with a doll and no Riley did not then go take away the truck from Baylee to prove to his Daddy that he was a real boy!

12. No I do not sit Riley in the sink so I can get ready. No he does not LOVE looking at himself!

13. No Riley is not drumming everything he can get his hands on. No we do not think he's gonna have musical ability like his parents.
